In addition to hospitality, for us gastronomy is another fundamental element of hospitality and we want you to experience it to the full here at Villa Irma. We carefully select all raw materials according to seasonality, freshness and creativity. We have close relationships with small local producers and others who have been collaborating with us for years and who work according to the principle of naturalness in a sustainable and ethical manner. Every detail from the service to the table is carefully taken care of. In addition to breakfast service, light lunch and a sweet afternoon snack, we offer the casual dining Tree Brasserie and the gourmet In Viaggio-Claudio Melis Ristorante alternative and creative concepts where absolute quality is the common thread that unites them. We do not offer classic half-board, but willingly and on request for those who wish to stay with us for dinner, we offer a guided 4-course meal that varies daily.

We are open for both house guests and external guests. 

Panoramic breakfast

Breakfast in our Sky Breakfast offers a breathtaking view of the Merano mountains. From early morning until 11 a.m., our buffet and A´la Carte options offer a range of colourful and varied options. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, cold cutsand cheeses, organic eggs, fresh pressed juices and home-made cakes. Every ingredient is carefully selected, regional and of the highest quality. What more pleasant way to start the day during your well-deserved holiday in South Tyrol!

Upon reservation, we gladly accept guests who do not reside in the hotel. The cost per person is € 35

afternoon delights

One of the most popular appointments for our guests during their holiday is ‘the sweet moment’. From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. we offer a selection of homemade cakes and ice-creams, fresh fruit and biscuits, dedicated to all those with and without a sweet tooth. Drinks are not included.

By prior arrangement, we gladly accept guests who do not reside in the hotel. The cost per person is € 12 excluding drinks.

The kitchen is the beating heart of the house! Every day our partners, who have become Friends, provide us with the freshest and most seasonal vegetables, freshly caught fish, certified and short chain meats to enable us to bring the best of the best to the table! 

We offer innovative and creative catering options without losing sight of tradition and territory but reinterpreting and emphasising it.  

We pay particular attention to different diets, allergies and/or food intolerances, trying to meet the different needs as far as possible.

Our wine list is in perpetual motion. We are always on the lookout for wineries that work with full respect for the identity of their terroir and product in order to offer wines with great personality that speak the dialect of their land of origin. We prefer the Alto Adige of small producers and spontaneous fermentations. The entire peninsula is well represented in our wine list, as well as the Old and New World.

We organise tastings and dinners with regional producers both for house guests and external guests.

We offer our guests the opportunity to enjoy all the gastronomic experiences of Villa Irma. From Breakfast Royale to Pic-Nic Basket. A Tapas aperitif at our Irma´s Bar or an informal yet elegant dinner at our Tree Brasserie, to a gourmet experience at our Michelin-starred restaurant In Viaggio-Claudio Melis. We can build this ‘safari’ for you or help you organise it your way.

 

Villa Irma's Pantry

We share with you our quest for the good and the beautiful. If you like, you can take a little piece of Villa Irma home with you. In our 'Ladele' near the reception you will find extra virgin olive oils, wine and balsamic vinegars, our homemade jams and mustards. Also always available are our anchovies in oil, smoked mackerel, bacon from our trusted butcher, and aged cheeses. Ask at reception for the complete list
